I guess it's going to be either October or a 2021 release. That said, Summer 2021 is still stacked with blockbusters, so that's not really an option at the moment.
So only one big movie can open in December? It can be done. Jumanji: The Next Level and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker both did last December.

My guess is TENET either goes to October/November, or 2021.
Dune looks like it's on track for December, along with Maverick. IMAX here plays a big role.
