I seriously think that this going to be delayed. COVID-19 is not going die down anytime soon. I have seen it firsthand at the hospital I work at. This is not an ideal time to release anything soon.
Yeah we all know it's going to be delayed, the question is when it will come out.
Hopefully to December. Dune gets postponed to summer 21. I see no point in delaying Tenet a whole year. Especially when you think that, Tenet is nearer to get finished than Dune.

December is already off the table because of TOP GUN 2

I guess it's going to be either October or a 2021 release. That said, Summer 2021 is still stacked with blockbusters, so that's not really an option at the moment.

So only one big movie can open in December? Wow ok.

The thought is that Top Gun 2 and Tenet were both shot in IMAX and will want to maximize IMAX screens, which both movies can't do if their released around the same time.

It can be done. Jumanji: The Next Level and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker both did last December.

It just can't brother. Nolan won't like it.

My guess is TENET either goes to October/November, or 2021.
Dune looks like it's on track for December, along with Maverick. IMAX here plays a big role.

I'm actually beginning to think that it might not move after all...

Neither of which were shot with IMAX cameras though
