Jesus, hope they're not going over budget.
Wasn't their Mumbai shoot done in 5 days while they scheduled 10?

I doubt Nolan will go over budget. I think he very well knows that no matter how much success he's had, if he goes over budget once the studio will probably interfere way more than he wants to.

As for the Inception comparison, that's pretty cool actually.

Hasn't he shot in digital already? I think some shots from Inception were shot in digital because films couldn't shoot in 1000FPS slo-mo.
He used Phantom high speed cameras for inception, but he said the footage got corrupted, so he went back to film instead, the final cut is all film.

With this being a true spy movie, it would be awesome if Nolan did something like the opera scene in MI: Rouge Nation but with time manipulation:

That scene was really something. Definitely my favourite part of Rogue Nation

Alright I know these 4chain forums are usually full of BS, but occasionally there is stuff posted that turns out to be legit. The thread is started by a person who claims to be cast as a recent extra, possible mild spoilers:

"I went to a casting call for Merry-go-round (Tenet) and I was called back to do some training with a large group of others. We practiced walking and running in reverse, trying to make it look as natural as possible. It was quite interesting to say the least. Any thoughts?"

Another post by him:
"No idea what the plot is. They don't tell us anything. We practiced running out of the back of a CH-46 (type of Helicopter) and the filming is happening in the mojave."

PS: If you click the link, be warned it's filled with replies that have the typical negative, hatful, and racist crap that pollutes most 4chain and reddit threads.

Seems like Nolan filmed around "The Solent" again for Tenet in the UK. He also did a lot of the filming of spitfires for Dunkirk there.

"Sorry Portsmouth News but info is leaning towards the filming to be for 'Tenet' by Christopher Nolan(seems to like the Solent area lately - Dunkirk), as there are direction signs for MGR around the airfield which most likely stands for 'Merry Go Round' which is the code name for Tenet."

WOW. Seriously what this man is doing ???

A big ostage crisis with more than 1000 extras.
A big plane crash.
Shooting in 7 different countries during more than 5 months

I still personaly thinking he's doing a massive straightforward espionnage thriller with some experimental high-concept behind it. All the tiny elements with have so far seems to point out to that direction.
