What is 4DX? Is it just motion seats? I'm planning to see it in AVX first, then IMAX.

Yeah, moving seats, which sounds... horrifying.

Motion seats with practical effects in the theater like water splashing at you, wind, smell, fog, snow. Not sure what the aspect ratio will be hopefully not letterboxed

Oh hell no with the things splashing on me. I could handle motion seats but not that, lol. At my theater the motion seats are called D-BOX. I wanted to try them for the longest time when I was younger, but now I'm old and don't want to sit in the bottom row, so I'll likely never try them.

I'm curious to as what Nolan thinks about it. He could have easily not allowed it to be produced. Like for example you can't watch his films in Dolby Atmos sound format... But he allowed 4DX...
