Is it like a side job for you just report people? because I come here like once a month and it seems that if there is a comment by you it's about reporting someone like a wimp. The guy was sharing his opinion and there is nothing offensive about explaining why he thinks another comment or opinion is stupid. You should just ask the mods to replace you with a bot next time

Would you guys want a re-release in a post covid future world? Like to make up for the disruption of this summer? Even just for a week or two. I’d love to see some re-releases of Nolan’s stuff especially Interstellar. It’s just a shame no one will be able to see this in a normally sold out full house bustling with the normal energy you’d expect from a new movie.
I feel it is going to get post back again. I think it would be smarter for studios to do release and small budget movies first to see if it is safe to go back and to see if audiences want to go back

I am guessing WB wants 500m WW at the very minimum for Tenetgropercity wrote: ↑June 13th, 2020, 12:03 amI agree. It's all greed motivated. They're putting Inception out on the 17th but not Tenet. It's clearly not for safety; it's for MONEY. Such a lame move.AsianVersionOfET wrote: ↑June 12th, 2020, 11:53 pmWhat a load of shit. I would be fucking PISSED if I was Nolan. So fucking stupid
well clowns, Hollywood is a business whether you like it or not. Do you think Nolan would've gotten a $200M budget for Tenet if it wasn't for the box office successes of Inception, Interstellar, Dunkirk? Do you wanna see more of your beloved Nolan original films?
It's expected Tenet' isn't gonna do extremely well financially, it might not even breakeven. But, they do have to give it the best shot at making some money as it's not only for Nolan's sake, the studio's sake but also for the Industry.
Seriously the IQs of some of yall in this forum

Let me know how bad PR2 was months before it came out and couple of other movies. I have no word on Tenet.Tarssauce wrote: ↑June 13th, 2020, 4:09 amA reminder that the US is not the center of the universe and that there are countries that will re-open cinemas in the upcoming weeks - although some have been showing a variety of older films already. The Inception rerelease seems to be a global event.
Also, what if in addition to the whole LA/NYC thing, they’re buying more time to finish post production?
it's a possibility although Nolan in Totalfilm feature insisted Tenet will be ready for the intended July 17 release. And said " we were very fortunate to have a cut of the film, and to have done a sound mix before the lockdown came into place."
Although, like Branagh alludes to, maybe the further editing process is taking longer than expected due to restrictions???? who knows
I really think we should be prepared for the worst, and hope for the best.Jesus of Suburbia wrote: ↑June 13th, 2020, 5:35 pmI feel it is going to get post back again. It's an action movie. It needs to be brisk.
lol Inception is shorter than that dude.marshallmurphy wrote: ↑June 13th, 2020, 6:43 pmHopefully that’s not official. If you subtract the credits it would only be like 2 hours 20 minutes. Not long enough, in my opinion.
Reminds me when people lost their shit over Dunkirk only being 107 mins lol.
