Tenet may not open in LA/SF or New York. Disney just moved all there films of the calendar. Theaters will probably close in two weeks.
?
Changed it to their. But Disney moved Death of the Nile, Black Widow, West Side Story, and Enternals. They only left Soul which I am guessing is going to Disney+.

fascinating to me that Nolan's done less press on Tenet than than literally any movie since The Prestige

Been thinking about this myself, I thought he would be pushing this hard by now, but he really hasn't done much. Perhaps it's because he wants to avoid scrutiny under these circumstances (releasing a film during a pandemic) but it could also be that he's somewhat unsatisfied by the critical response or the film itself. I don't know, pure speculation on my part, but it's fascinating how little Nolan has done to promote it.

A theater about 30 minutes from me is opening this weekend, I might make the drive. It's not IMAX but oh well, I need to see this before theaters inevitably re-close.
At least you have a theater open in a 30 min vicinity

No, I was just being Captain Obvious. That's what Fouad does on Family Guy.

My point was I guess you wouldn't state that unless that was the case for you, which I'm sorry about. If it makes you feel better, my closest open theater is 40 minutes away, but before that was 2.5 hours away (in Reno) where I first saw it.

No need to feel sorry, I saw the film, took a 3 hour round trip for it.
