How much did you spend to see Dunkirk?

$350 AUD (flight, etc.)

I made this thread in the hopes that someone from WB/close to Nolan will read this and see just how expensive it is to see this as he intended (IMAX, 70mm, etc.)

I spent $40 on the movie that I hadn't meant to because I forgot to cancel.

No regrets, though. :P

Probably at least $65 for two due to the number of times I bought new tickets then returned old (due to losing the Fandango convenience fee each time). Out best IMAX (1570 film King of Prussia) listed shows late due to projector issues (I bought tickets, then returned them and bought seats further back). Then that cinema pulled the 1570 shows from Fandango (I bought backup tickets elsewhere), then they reinstated the 1570 shows, then my husband decided he wanted to go on a different night (I bought new 1570 tickets, returned my old 1570 tickets and my backup tickets then discovered I had accidentally returned my NEW 1570 tickets), then rebought the new 1570 tickets.

(my husband spend over $15 on snacks - $13 of that was a medium popcorn in a bag and a medium soda)

I am seeing it again tonight at a local IMAX (digital) and paid another $21.35 including the fees.

So about $86 total for me and $15 for my husband.

$150 or so. Add another $50 later this week.

Good to see fellow fans rising to the occasion.

Hotel was $420 for two nights. Tickets for 3 showings of Laser IMAX were $51. Gasoline for the 12 hour roundtrip drive probably around $100. So yeah, pretty close to $600.

It was 100% worth it! :D I regretted not doing this for Interstellar after seeing the LieMAX version of it at my local theater. No regrets this time and the 1.43 IMAX footage of this film exceeded my expectations. Hoyte's work is phenomenal on this movie. 8-)
