Thing is in Interstellar's case most of the early buzz came from people/industry people who got an early screening rather than critics. Pirates is a mega franchise film so I'm not surprised it had early buzz even if it turned out bad.
With Dunkirk we're getting a lot of critics raving about it. Now, of course, this doesn't mean all critics feel this way you're right but I still want to believe this is a different scenario than what happened back in 2014.
