Don't forget Mrs. Miniver from 1942! It's not directly about the event like Nolan's film and the others mentioned, but the evacuation plays a part in the story.YFR3 wrote:There's just a little mistake. Nolan's Dunkirk isn't the second feature film about Operation Dynamo but the fourth : there was "Dunkirk" (1958), "Week-end à Zuydcoote" (1964) and "Atonement" (2007). "Week-end à Zuydcoote" is based on a novel written by Robert Merle who was taken prisoner during the real events. That's one of my favorite war movie with some of the best French actors of the sixties (Belmondo, Marielle...). And it's a really disillusioned script... from a French point of view, Dunkirk is more a shameful episode than a glorious one.

Of course McCrabb read the script and knows that this guy is actually a German spy who's happy to die amongst the British.
How the hell does that guy seem to have all this insider info with various productions? He must work at Warner Brothers or something.
He's faking it dude. And yet people like you fall for it.HorrorBiz wrote:How the hell does that guy seem to have all this insider info with various productions? He must work at Warner Brothers or something.

The guys in the trailer are definitely extras. The first to look at the Stuka is a French student in architecture from Lille https://www.facebook.com/mathias.novaisluque?fref=ts
I heard his audition involved having to draw a maze within two minutes for Nolan to solve.YFR3 wrote:The guys in the trailer are definitely extras. The first to look at the Stuka is a French student in architecture from Lille https://www.facebook.com/mathias.novaisluque?fref=ts
