Maybe Dunkirk will be like a dream world in Inception, space in Interstellar and Gotham in TDK Trilogy, i.e. the central place of the conflict/action with additional scenes outside of it. But I think there won't be many of this additional scenes. Maybe, there will be shootings in the other cities of France instead of England, because of all this stuff/equipment movement and such things... But the one is clear: Dunkirk is totally the central stage of the movie.

We must not forget that Nolan is extremely secretive filmmaker. I do believe that film is actually taking stage during WWII, but title is not so obvious for me, expecially because of Nolan's using of code names.

Everything sounds great, but not sure about unknown young actors as the leads...this one is going to be the least gripping Nolan's film in terms of casting which is so untypical because his casting has always been massive...

lets remember that teenagers were soldiers here. im guessing most of the teen cast will be british soldiers/french nationals
