A very Nolan-y article - not sure if this has been posted. Lots of references to his other films.
Rolling Stone: Why 'Dunkirk' Is the Christopher Nolan Movie We've Been Waiting For
'The Dark Knight' filmmaker has always been an expert at making next-level blockbusters – now he finally proves he's an artist http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/news ... or-w493361
Fantastic article on Paste about how Nolan has approached time in his films and why Dunkirk is a new peak for him in that regard. Touches on a lot of things that have been discussed here but really does a good job of explaining why the three timelines work so well and the thematic/aesthetic reasons associated with that, plus really digs into why the end of the film is a beautiful, truthful conclusion. And, again, puts it all into context with Nolan's filmography. I think you guys will really enjoy it.

"Dunkirk also grants perspective. We see a Stuka shot down; in the next moment we see that same Stuka flying on past a boat it has failed to hit, Rylance’s Mr. Dawson stating that the plane “has bigger fish to fry.”
I really want to pretend these are the same plane. It makes me sleep better at night lol.

Hey, does the BTS book or any other source have any good images of Collins? If so, would anyone be willing to make a high res scan for me? I'd like to paint Jack as Collins but I'm failing to find good reference pics...
