I love that he'll cast unknown tennagers. It just seems right.
Wow, WWII. Thought for sure it'd be another sci-fi or a horror pick.
If he's going to shoot there in May through July, I might go and visit since it's only a few hours away from here.

so it will maybe be a "Empire of the Sun" type of movie. War through kids/teens eyes

I have a very bad feeling that it won't out in summer 2017. It's serious story, war-centered with great actors. Warner might move premiere to fall 2017 to get some buzz for awards.

A war film shot entirely in 65....my oh my...

Also, they knew what they were doing, when the release date was set.
