Very cool. I expected this type of reaction for McC but the Irwin praise is great since he was such a fun character in Jonah's script. Also, I knew there had to be a reason Nolan cast Damon in this role.I'm a John G wrote:in regards to the performances, i have to agree that McC really kills it... which was surprising. i was expecting something more along the lines of Leo in Inception, where its a perfectly effective acting job but one that didn't require much. i was wrong. McC kills it, and adds so much nuance to his character that i feel like it's probably the best lead performance in a Nolan film since Guy Pearce in Memento. maybe not as transcendental as Ledger's Joker, but the emotional range McC finds and the nuances he discovers in Coop make it an extraordinary performance. i won't bother to rank the characters in this film as it's really unfair, though it's safe to say that McC, Irwin, and Damon completely stole the show. i'd say it's the best or second best lead performance of all of Nolan's movies, again, with Pearce as the benchmark.

Do you guys remember the Empire article saying something about a "sublime match cut"? Now that the movie is out, anyone know what it was? I'm not 100% sure, but I think it was when
Was that it? If not, I completely missed it and need to be filled in lol

I just got home from watching this at the AMC Metreon IMAX and well I don't really know what I think about the film. My freaking head is spinning right now. As for WOM, I don't know if this will get to the same level as Inception. Only two people clapped and I heard a few "sighs," but for the most part people were just like WTF?
