INTERSTELLAR is in turn some of the best Nolan and some of his most indulgent. But Zimmer's score and Hoytema's cinematography are stunning

INTERSTELLAR is more THE RIGHT STUFF than 2001 which is my way of saying it's cornball American determinism. And I loved it.
Peter S. Hall @PeterSHall 1m1 minute ago
Though I didn't connect wholly with it, INTERSTELLAR is a fascinating, ambitious feat of filmmaking.

Interstellar was absolutely incredible. 10/10 would space again.
Also, Christopher Nolan is the man.

Unfortunately no. First of all, they don't even have the runtime right. It's actually 169 minutes, and this theater (where I'll be seeing it!) lists the IMAX footage at 66 minutes.

INTERSTELLAR: Bloated, overly ambitious, often thrilling, and a singular cinematic experience, unlike any other I've had this year. Like 2001, from which much inspiration is taken, the visuals in this will stand the test of time. Just extraordinary.

Is this good or bad or both?

Based on my expectations, everything said in those tweets excites me.
@jeffcannata
I remember going to a diner with my friend after seeing Memento to sort through it. Interstellar is that again. I need a diner. And a friend

Phil Plait @BadAstronomer
Well, I’ll say this for “Interstellar”: It eventually ended.

I'm thinking good, flawed, but good.
