Only red capret premiere that I know is happening is London - there is already a competition to win tickets (only for Cineowlrd Unlimited members) at http://www.cineworld.co.uk/blog/interst ... re-tickets

I won't be surprised though if like TDKR they hold the world premiere at the NYC Lincoln Square IMAX.

Aren't they redoing Grauman's Chinese Theatre in LA to accommodate Interstellar? That would be the obvious place (+ they would probably get McC and Nolan to put their feet and hands in cement at the same time).

Nolan already has hands in cement. Yeah possibly if there is an LA premiere. Remember Chinese Theatre even with the 70mm projector isn't 'real IMAX'

They will specially Install 70mm Projector for Interstellar http://www.slashfilm.com/tcl-chinese-in ... imax-70mm/

Already mentioned this above, yeah it's likely but I still prefer to have Lincoln Square NY to have world premiere as Grauman's Chinese isn't real IMAX even with 70mm.

Actually the screen size is the third largest in North america, so it's not a Liemax, but I can see that it's screen ratio is a 1,85:1 rather than the 70mm ratio of 4:3 (see the IMAX renovation video on my post). Now it's already renamed to TCL IMAX, so it's officialy an IMAX now.
Based on the capacity, it has the largest one in the world, so it's a good candidate beside the NYC Lincoln Imax.

And exactly due to the aspect ratio it's LieMAX. It was made with digital in mind not 70mm
