IWatchFilmsNotMovies wrote:Casey deserves to do much better work. I can't believe he's stuck doing a Brett Ratner film. I have so much respect for the guy for Jesse James alone. He's also terrific in Gone Baby Gone. Nolan should revive his career the guy is so talented.

He also decided to waste his time directing the Joaquin Phoenix movie which certainly did not help him. However doing the Ratner flick is really not a bad decision. It gives him the chance to try out the comedy genre which could be fun. He is either being extremely selective or not getting the roles. I guess I would lean towards the latter because of the Phoenix situation and doing the Ratner flick. I guess he needs another big break and needs to take advantage of it this time instead of directing a Joaquin Phoenix rapper spoof.
Co-Sign.

I want Nolan to give him that big break.

I wonder if he will have a whiny voice in this film?

See? This is what you do best: downplay talent.

It takes a refined troll do blend in like you do.

No, stop being paranoid.

I am curious if he will use his normal (whiny) voice or if he will change it for the role. I am not downplaying anything. I am fine if he uses his normal voice if it suits the role.

What are you working on that you can tell us about?
I’ve got a movie coming out at Thanksgiving called Out of the Furnace, and I’m going to work on a Chris Nolan movie in the fall.
