Overall, how much of the story takes place on Earth?
About 40% Earth, 30% outer space, and 30% another planet. I'm guessing Nolan might bump up the percentage on Earth though, based on what we've been hearing.
Sounds good. Even though I haven't read the script, I do hope Nolan managed to put his own twist on it, so it can feel like a 'true' Nolan movie.

I hope so... 'cause right now the film lack certain things, like action. But I'm sure Nolan (Chris) is gonna improve it.

If lots of action is what you're hoping for, I think you're gonna be disappointed.

Does anybody else wonder if Tars and Case are still in the script?
I can't image any of the currently casted actors being Marine robots. I hope they're still in there, they were some of my favorite things about the script.

I thought Bill Irwin could have fit one of the roles, but I have no idea who John Lithgow is playing.
Possibly Ansen or Brand's dad?
Maybe we'll have a better idea of script changes once they officially announce that everyone's been cast. We could still see some more actors added to the movie in the near future.

Last Nolan movies has been quite action packed, I don't think he would do this with just the little action of the Jonathan Nolan's 2008 script.

Just because his last couple of films have been action packed doesn't mean that all his films from here on out will follow that same trend. Interstellar will not be without it's fair share of action/suspense, I just don't think it will be on the scale of say TDKR.

Well, what do you want? Spaceships battling it out? Meteors striking big cities?

This isn't Armageddon.

Did you think Memento lacked car chases and shootouts too?

God, no!
Less action, more science! More mind fucks! More twists! Dialogues! Everything but not more action, this isn't this type of movie. Especially in Chris hands.
