Does anyone know how much longer Interstellar will be showing in 70mm? I'd love to see it one more time in a mostly empty theater.
Interstellar General Information
70mm IMAX? My local one (Universal Citywalk AMC) is playing Interstellar up until this Sunday. It gets swapped out with The Hobbit marathon the next day.UnknownVariation wrote:Does anyone know how much longer Interstellar will be showing in 70mm? I wonder where this is from? Another sort of roundtable? I can't help but notice all these filmmakers are people who still shoot on film.
Some notable directors, including Nolan and Guillermo del Toro, were at the screening of Interstellar (70 mm) inside The Egyptian Theatre last night.Insomniac wrote:Judd Apatow just tweeted these two photos:

Were the Casey Affleck and Michael Caine photos ever released? It feels like I've seen them in full.
I just noticed Topher Grace's blog has a "Flora's Letter" book on it's background on the bottom left

Destiny & Legacy are the words that come to mind for Guillermo del Toro to describe Interstellar. Human emotions vs cosmic scale for Nolan
Its the 1st time Guillermo has teared up in a Nolan film although he has choked up with envy before. Speaks of the "human continum."
"What I'm doing next? I have no idea," says Nolan I do one thing at a time.
Awesome! Some new bits of info from Nolan there. Del Toro is so cool.
So del Toro likes Interstellar. Cool.
