Some fascinating discussions here about the origins of certain story elements.

(29:00) I'd always heard the story that Nolan wanted an element of the story where the characters traveled faster than the speed of light, but Kip Thorne firmly told him that's not possible. It's revealed here that it was for Cooper to go back to Earth in the 3rd act to see Murph, but not via the wormhole. They then developed the idea of the tesseract we see in the film.

EDIT: I'm continuing to listen, and the whole discussion of how the tesseract works is mind-blowing!

Saw it at the Chinese theater on Friday, they just put up more showings so I got tickets for two more showings at Universal CityWalk. I never saw the movie in theaters when it first came out so seeing it in IMAX now was really special, No Time For Caution in IMAX was absolutely incredible!!

Used to be an unpopular opinion to consider Interstellar as one of the greatest film of the last decade ( or of all time in my case), and Nolan's best. But this new release proves that we're getting there.
Power of cinema also can transcend time!

It has achieved something the all movies, tv shows, songs, etc. strived to reach. It stands the test of time.
