Talia's is sad and pathetic which is in its own way effective, Foley dies doing what he needed to do, and why the hell should I care about Bane?

Talia's is sad and pathetic which is in its own way effective, Foley dies doing what he needed to do, and why the hell should I care about Bane?

when you make it sound like that it sounds great but we when see the actual execution of this in the film it comes of almost amateur'ish at how bad it's shot/edited/directed/acted out

Why is everyone so pissed at Foley's death? Just because you saw some leaked spy videos that saw him get run over and you think that would've looked cooler on screen? If you hadn't seen those, it would've been fine. He was a minor character and me and my friends all thought his death was pretty damn sad, the way his mangled body lied there. It really was pitiful, the way he was smart enough to stay off the streets, and then finally decided to be a man and lead the cops in a charge and immediately got killed. :(

I thought
Lucius would die because I had accidentally read a "spoiler" (obviously it was wrong).

I was expecting Alfred to die. Probably by Bane killing him in front of Bruce while he was in the prison. That definitely would have been a very impacting death in many ways.

I figured Gordon would survive. Whether Batman and Bruce would die or just Batman was 'up in the air'. With this being the end I couldn't see both of them making it out. I figured there would be a sacrifice.
