It wouldn't surprise me, if Hardy used Steorids to gain that bulk. Rourke did the same for "The Wrestler" and to me it looks like the same. But maybe he only has a good trainer and knows the procedure from his role in "Bronson". For me it doesn't matter, as long as he makes a good bane.

Tom! Do take steroids man! It's a boss MOVE! Kids don't know it yet! 8-)

Thanks man some people weren't seeing eye to eye on the topic. Steroids are actually good for the body but just not for long periods of time. I mean everything down to an inhaler for asthma has steroids but people just think they're bad due to the baseball issue. I think Tom has a professional that has been working with steroids for years by his side and has it down to a science. If you take them all the time for years they're bad, real bad but the same thing applies to smoking, drinking and other drugs.

You're closing in on a record for dumbest strain of logic ever. I'm not even gonna explain it to you... since you keep ignoring the content in my posts to ramble on about steroid use because for some convoluted reason you seem to think that every human's body had the same metabolism and adaptive qualities.

Why don't you look into it a little more before responding man, you have nothing but negative responses. You need to take a step back and understand something from the pic that was posted. A few months and he got that big, use you brain man i know your smart but your letting your personal feelings about the situation get in the way. He has done steroids 100% what dont you understand about that...ask a body builder, a true body builder and he would agree with me. Man i've done them a few times throughout my life to help with plateauing but i don't use to to look super big and super lean. I have respect for you because your very knowledgeable when it comes to movies and i respect you one on that but please dont let your own head get in the way of reality.
You... ignored... my entire.... reasoning, which is based on fact... again.

Agree to disagree fellas ;)

I personally have no idea how he has gained that much muscle myself and couldn't care less. I'm more intrested in his performace as Bane as he comes from a made up country in the comics (Spanish speaking I think) and I'm hoping they change that a little bit like his apperance. Hoping he's still a very smart villan though :D

Tom didn't even put on pure muscle, there's clearly a lot of fat too. He definitely just had a super high calorie diet with an insane workout regimine. Steroids are pointless if your goal is to gain bulk, like Tom claimed he was going to do a long time ago.

Na man i understand about people having different metabolisms and your right i cant put on weight like some others but to see a transformation like that over a few months, come on. I do agree with you when it comes everybody does have different adaptive qualities too...I bust my ass at the gym, eat right, sleep well and someone can come in, do half of what i do and be at the same level. It's frustrating but that's reality of it.

Except... that picture makes him look scrawny, when he wasn't during that interview... He hasn't gained the pure mass amount of muscle you seem to think...

"Steroids are pointless if your goal is to gain bulk" that's the funniest thing i've ever heard  You bulk with roids you need the fats and calories or you end up looking like a Calvin Klein model
