its a good thing Nolan (not hollywood) is the one who came up with the story, then
Not unless the producers have their fingerprints all over it.talli wrote:Robert Mugabe wrote:

oh yeah...after letting Nolan do a completely original blockbuster that rendered in incredible box office, the producers are gonna be worried about touching up Nolan's script you're quite the analyst
Except for Nolan.Robert Mugabe wrote:Oh, will probably be money or some silly childhood vendetta. Hollywood can't come up with a fresh story to save their lives.talli wrote:

Robert Mugabe wrote:I guess so. So what you're saying is that Bane's mission is to simply crack open Batman's back and nothing else, similair to the way Joker only cared about anarchy?talli wrote:
he doesnt have to literally break his back, but he can damage his back...really injure batman
It's really not about Bane literally breaking Batman's back. Bane broke Batman's spirit, his will his capacity to continue. Breaking his back was a very visual metaphor but it was about Bane breaking Batman the symbol, the myth, the man, the legend. Bane is not about breaking batman's back so much as about destroying his entire legacy.

According to IGN:
And as for Selina Kyle's role in TDKR, IGN reported recently that Nolan's story will find Catwoman filling the void left by a fugitive Batman, with her vigilante activity prompting Batman's return.
This is probably spot on.anonymity wrote:It's really not about Bane literally breaking Batman's back. Bane broke Batman's spirit, his will his capacity to continue.
