TBH Michelle Pfeiffer - as good an actress she is - never WAS Selina/Catwoman! That begins with the fact that Selina is NOT blonde (or black: sorry Halle, you are such an awesome actress) and ends with the costume not being sexy at all. Well, even in the Selina parts the air did not burn! The character must be true to the comics. Nolan did a fantastic job in the 2 preceding films staying true to the characters core elements so ... sorry to say if you cannot handle this  ... Selina IS a gothic sex goddess!!! She thinks diamonds are girls best friends and seducing men serves her aims! (well, until she finally falls in love with Batman/Bruce Wayne). In Year One she is a prostitute (origin) so she knows how to tempt men! And of course all the ways to dress and undress! Simply read the comics! Fetishism is part of her character but realistic (Nolan-like) not corny like in the Burton movie!Houdini's Brother wrote:You can forget about any 'fetishism' in TDKR. I'd imagine Nolan's interpretation will be far removed from the Burton/Pfeiffer version. Therefore no whips and kinky leather costume. If and when she does become Catwoman, her outfit will most likely be purely functional - much like Bale's Batman suit.xxstefanx wrote:Absolutely my thoughts!
First look/thought it appears that she is way off...but so was Heath until he extremely and fully transformed into the Joker!
If Anne is capable of doing the same exterme transformation noone expects from her she will surprise us all (including the ones that are actually overly sceptical)
BUT...she has to go a long way becoming the seductive Selina/Catwoman physically and emotionally!
She has to become far more curvy almost like a man's fetish dream (silhouette more like a pornstar than a character actress - if you know what I mean! I won't go so far as a breast augmentation but still... )
She has to tune up a bit in muscles at the same time to be believabe when "jumping on rooftops"!
And finally - as I indicated with the man's fetish dream - she has to fully explore her dark side: A seducing, femme fatale hot as hell completely aware of her sexual appeal no one can resist! She is using a WHIP so imagine dark desires and fantasies! Surely not the everyday love interest!
Oh, and her LONG hair "must come in BLACK", of course!
Yep. It's almost guaranteed this "interpretation" of Bane will be the one who has a photographic memory and knows multiple languages, rather than the unintelligeble grunting sidekick from Schumacher's masterpiece.Inceptic wrote:Because of "Batman & Robin"talli wrote:
