Chris Nolan Lines Up Actresses For Batfilm

The 2012 superhero epic about Batman's struggle to overcome the terrorist leader Bane, as well as his own inner demons.

Bale said the latest Batman film is next for him, but he is still in the mode of his Fighter character Dickie since he hasn't played any other roles since. "I'm interested to see how Chris Nolan takes Dickie in a Batsuit," quipped Bale.

The snowstorm once again came up in his speech, as Bale mentioned that he, Wahlberg and the rest of their table would have to run off right after they get off stage to make it out of town - or risk being stuck. Bale mentioned he particularly needs to return to LA to work on screen tests for possible Batman co-stars.

Well I would like to see Weisz, Green, Watts or Knightley in the Nolans Bat film.

I just don't see Hathaway being a fit in dark, gritty Bat film. I would think Nolan would want actress' who would want a more exotic look this time around.

I can see Hathaway being a better fit as Lois Lane in The Man Of Steel film that Nolan is producing and Snyder directing.

I agree with everything written here.

What do you guys think of Arterton? I don't mind her that much honestly. I think she would be a much better choice than Biel or Hathaway. Obviously I would take Eva Green or Naomi Watts in a second if they are available... but let's assume they aren't for the sake of this discussion...

I like Watts too. But if I had to choose between her and Eva Green... I would go with Green. She seems like a natural fit with the current cast.
