Possibly because it's awards season and studios tend to concentrate on making money from their Oscar nominated films instead.
As they start pre-production soon with building sets and costumes etc, it's only a mater of weeks until the casting comes out via the trades.
The casting dominos will start to fall as we get closer to May.
On another note, I hope The Dark Knight Rises will have some sort of presence at Comic Con this year. Got my tickets yesterday. XD
