it is starting to grow on me, but I still wouldn't care much either way what the title is. It's just the title.

I don't care for "The Dark Knight Rises"... Personally I was hoping for something along the lines of "The Legend of Batman" or something that continues the story in title even though this will be the last film. It would be the final text we see onscreen, and it would compliment the theme for when Ra's al Ghul is telling Wayne he could become something more, "A Legend, Mr. Wayne" in "Batman Begins".

I voted indifferent. But maybe they could come up with a better title after the final script is done, and change it to something a little better.

I thought Nolan finished his draft just before the interview, I thought it was the reason why he revealed the title but, if that's not the case:

I've read alot of different suggestions for what TDKR should be called, and I gotta say the majority of them are just banal. I don't think this is just me being cynical because there's no real consensus on what it should be called. I've yet to see anyone gather a petition to change TDKR to a specific different name, so far it's just been "The Dark Knight Rises sucks! And it should be... different."

I won't start a petition because I've accepted the fact that this is something I will have to live with.

Nolan's influence is too strong. The only kind of negative thing about Nolan that I've found is that it doesn't seem like he listens to his fans. He assumes to know what we want, and he has been right most of the time.
