The 2012 superhero epic about Batman's struggle to overcome the terrorist leader Bane, as well as his own inner demons.

I would not mind J.J. Abrams doing Batman 4. He did a good with Star Trek after all.

If I don't mistaken myself, I think he is the guy who directed Memento.

I like J J Abrams. He seems like a nice guy. Quite talented too, with an incredible career in TV (Alias, Lost, Fringe) and has been quite successful in Hollywood too (Cloverfield, Mission Impossible 3, Star Trek).
But i would obviously prefer Nolan to finish HIS trilogy by HIMSELF. :-)
HTH.

Abrams doing Superman sounds like a good idea to me, though I don't see this happening as he'll more than likely be directing Star Trek 2 which is supposed to be released in July 2012.

J.J. Abrams is one of my favorite current directors right now but I still prefer Nolan over him any day. I'd say J.J. Abrams is better at directing action but I think Nolan does everything else better.

Thread started out as a fail with first 2 posts... now it's coming along nicely.

I also had JJ Abrams on my mind when the Superman reboot came up, a pity he's going back for the Star Trek sequel though the first one was outstanding.

I believe this is the only way to express my thoughts on your proposal:
