He can't see the difference between blue and red, so he can't watching 3D. Maybe I'm wrong.

The new 3D uses polarised lenses.
Thats the 80's 3D, even worse than the interlaced RealD. Anyway 3D is for kids and Disneyland rides.

Back in 2009 actually, Its quite new. Avatar and UP were the films which really boosted this tech. The reason he doesn't like 3D is it does not present the best quality for the film.
