Zack Snyder said that he'd love to do an adaptation of The Dark Knight Returns...
And Warner Brothers got the rights to Batman, so it would seem like a safe move for them to register that domain...

It seems to have been there quite awhile. However, one would assume they would've registered the title for B3 by now and all the likely ones I've tried haven't come up registered to WB. Of course, that could just mean the Nolans and Goyer came up with an incredibly original title none of us have thought of.
