Well, seeing this many people are not including Rises as their favorite movie from 2012, I figured I would make a poll to see exactly how many people in here think like that.

I have to admit it's a bit surprising because for example on IMDb Rises got far better ratings than any other films this year except Django which will most likely fall down bellow Rises as well after a while. You have to expect a similar result in a Nolan fanbase.

Rises is behind Zero Dark Thirty for me, and debatably The Master too.

Zero Dark's the best, Rises and The Master somewhat compete for second best, but Rises is my no question favorite.

I saw a couple of excellent movies this year, but when it comes to which movie I loved so much that I saw it multiple times, only TDKR wins that honor, and thus it gets my vote for best movie of the year.

Well, I might define "best" in a different way from others, so yes I say it's the best of 2012.

For me it's behind The Master, Zero Dark Thirty and Silver Linings Playbook. It's definitely up there.
