TDKRs only nomination as far as I can see is for Special Visual Effects. Snubbed for Best film (as expected), nothing for director, nothing at all for cinematography which is my biggest disappointment.
If this is any sign of things to come tomorrow with the Academy nominations, it's not looking so good for Team Nolan.

Don't expect much better come gold statue noms announced.

At one point I thought TDKR was a lock for Visual Effects, Sound Mixing, and Sound Editing Oscar nominations, but even those are looking a bit shaky now.

BAFTA has much more creditability then those folks at the Academy these days. And lets face it TDKR wasn't going to win any of the major awards. Its best shot is in the Special Effects.
It's a bloated year. We all know Chris, while most deserving, won't be championed this year, especially when everyone is so busy kissing Spielberg's ass for his weak America-porn. I can't believe Lincoln is getting the accolades it is...and Tarantino not receiving a nom for DGA...the whole circuit is batshit this year. Of course, that's no different than any year I suppose. Good luck to TDKR, but no one hold your breath for tomorrow morning.
