Anyone else want an extended cut on Blu Ray?

final chase that never made the final cut, much to my disappointment. Like a lot of people, those scenes, while unbelievably epic and so on, could and should have been a lot more so.

^This.
I want the full Alfred-Wayne dialogue too. It's much more powerful and emotional.

Actually there are two different Imax Limitation.

One for Imax film (the real Imax): 2h45
Another one for Digital Imax (little bit shorter): About 3h15 (remember the re-release of Avatar in Imax ;)

They wanted to release TDKR on the maximum amount of Imax theater so 2h45 might be the reason why.

In about ten years I want the whole trilogy to get a new version, updated to what ever quality film we are at, add in all the removed scenes etc. I'd buy it in an instant.

I want an extended version, but I don't see it happening.

Yeah, that's all this seems like to me. You guys are making it sound like they removed some substantial stuff.
They cut some beautiful shots and great acting emotional dialogues. Is this something good?
Indeed. Even if there's nothing substantial that was cut, I still want the extra seconds of scenes that were cut just to trim for time. Some shots just beg to be held longer, and they probably were, they just don't appear that way in the film. As a result I never felt fully immersed on an emotional or atmospheric level.

the scenes are always longer, what i want is just more timing in each scene and for sure they have that, they just cut it to fit in on IMAX and Nolan probably knew that there was a limitation, but he couln'd just possibly film useful material to make it an exact timing, just see how every scene on the dark knight is a little longer that TDKR, i loved the movie and will love a longer version just for atmospheric reasons.

So apparently, there MIGHT be one coming after all.
I saw that. How reliable is the Nuke the Fridge guy?! Anyone know his track record?
Im not soing anything until WB or Nolan himself reveals it.
