I'm expecting it to top TDK.

Many of the supposed reasons for it not being as good as TDK are because it doesn't have Joker or that it's not all about Joker. I expected shit like that.

It's not about Joker... it's about the good filmmaking.

Even the reviews that say it isn't as good as TDK still say it's only a tiny bit below.

To be honest though, these reviews saying it's "not as good as TDK" are still all praising it. So that means that whether it's better than TDK or not it seems to be the most satisfying threquel ever. I don't care if the general audience thinks TDK is better, I just hope they all agree that it's absolutely amazing for a third movie and that it gets a reputation as the film that broke the trilogy curse in CBM's. I don't want this to be remembered as another ROTJ but as another ROTK. That's honestly more important.

Could the threadstarter choose any more poorer words to start a topic? You make it sound like it's on some SM3, X3 shit or something. This film is at the very least on par with TDK with some people. I think it will vary. It's a satisfying and thrilling conclusion to the trilogy. How many part 3's of other series can you say that about? Not many.

Exactly the point I was trying to make. It doesn't matter if people feel TDK is better, what matters is this is not anther part 3 fail.

Weak ? who said that ? Who ever said it is a moron not a critic. Bane can't be compared to Joker.
Their characters r very different. Joker is entertaining and psychopathic..bane is Physical.Most of the critics gave the movie A or 5/5 ot 10/10 or 9/10 ..one or 2 gave 8/10 and B+.
TDKR might not top TDK ..but based on the reviews its a DAMN GOOD MOVIE!
You can't expect every nolan movie to top the b4 movies...its impossible. But u can always expect a great movie from him.
