Check out his score for Sherlock Holmes. After watching the film I was surprised to see Zimmer did the score.

Actually, now what you mention it, I really can't recall what the score sounded like.

The Sherlock Holmes theme was awesome. I was whistling the tune for days.

An interesting little tidbit:

A while ago, Zimmer said he worked hard to make sure the music for Sherlock Holmes was different from his Batman movie scores, "Because there’s probably going to be another one (Batman 3)…[and] you want to protect your franchise."
