Hey folks,

Today we transitioned NolanFans.com to use HTTPS. Originally requested by Pratham back in 2017, it’s something that we have wanted to do for a long time. Since it's 2020 and all, we thought we might as well get going on it.

This change means no more “not secure” warnings in your web browsers, and more cool 🔒 icons.

Please do let us know if anything around here is (newly) broken, as this change involves the redirection of every old URL pointing at NolanFans.com over HTTP. And our web server is running on an entirely new platform!

Enjoy the new security!

Old site: http://www.nolanfans.com (should automatically redirect to HTTPS)
New site: https://www.nolanfans.com

Great!

Some of the avy's of users don't work, they show a question mark. I often still get logged out if I click on email notifications and what about that banner image of Nolan?

I went to nolanfans manually instead of going to my bookmark on my other computer (now https://) and it did not redirect me to a secure site until I physically typed in the s.

Dunno if that's a known issue or not.

You should be using 'HTTPS Everywhere' extension anyway.
