Why are all of them American films? This is pathetic for a country with a population of 60million. Seriously, they'd rather watch a talking animals film than a local British film that actually speak for them?

Holy Christ, even though I'm not British, I feel sorry for all you Brits.

So how exactly do these American films speak for you as an American then?

You act as if the US Top 10 is full of American films that speak to Americans on such a deep level. It's not. It's full of films that entertain people. Just like the UK box office and the Australian one posted.

How those American films speak to Americans is irrelevant to what we should be discussing here. By asking me how those Hollywood films speak for Americans, you may as well ask me to write a review for each of the films listed above and discuss their cultural/social/political meanings.

Any further discussion should revolve around the fact that no single British film is in the Top 10 Weekend Box Office Chart. Again, not realizing that most movies Brits watch in theaters are American products is clearly troubling and should be of a major concern for those senators sitting in the old parliament building.

I'm not pretending that films like Piranha 3D speak to Americans on a deep level. I was merely stating the fact that British people almost exclusive rely on Americans for entertainment. If you look at it closer, that is a problem as well. British moviewatchers are basically giving money away to Americans easily and allow them to create jobs, etc.

Still not realizing it's a huge concern? Well, then you are "drugged".

Why are you making such a big deal out of that? Other countries are just like that too.

You're basing off your opinion based off of one weekend box office chart. Look at some other ones.

Box office mojo has done one of their "versus" box office matches between all the matrix movies and inception. Considering how things looked at the start, it's gotten pretty neat to follow the two now

so if all goes well Inception's final domestic gross should be a little more than $280. May even have a shot at beating Reloaded's $742 worldwide gross as well.

Especially when the week-to-week drop (which is what matters in terms of longevity) is only 37.1%.
