So overall was Zimmer's score used effectively in Inception? I'd say hell yea.

I love the score, especially the softer guitars and softer orchestral parts. They seem very surreal, like something in a dream. ;)

I hope he gets a nom for this score. It's REALLY good.

I agree. He should have gotten a nomination for The Last Samurai too back in 2004, but hopefully he gets the nom for Inception. 8-)

It's #6 on the iTunes album chart, so I guess we aren't the only ones who enjoy the hell out of it.

What I wanna know is if the two bonus tracks for V-Cast users will ever surface online. I loved Zimmer's score, but the sountrack album, kickass as it is, feels very incomplete after seeing the film. I have a feeling it will be like TDK, where we get a complete score for the holidays just so they can drain our wallets.

I think about 75% of it is great while the remaining quarter is fairly average. Overall, I think it's a great score and works well in the film.

Having just seeing the film yesterday, this is way better than his Batman stuff, nearly as good a Gladiator, I will be buying this soundtrack, the dream theme is brilliant, still have it in my head now
