It's a terrible comparison. TDK is still the record-holder for biggest opening weekend. IIRC it is $158 million.

I went yesterday just to help it's Sunday total! It's like voting, every ticket counts!

The fact that Sunday's totals are higher than expected is a great sign. This means that word of mouth has already started to spread. 2 days after the movie opened, people want to see this film because they've heard how great it is.
