Why are people so concerned with some competition between these two movies?

I have the exact same question. Why are people bashing Salt or Inception?

Salt won't come out until a week after Inception, so I don't understand all the Salt bashing that goes on here - especially from people who haven't watched it (but that's not stopping them from calling it crap)

These movies are targeted at different audience or rather different mindset.I love Memento and I liked A-Team, but while watching, I was in two different moods.You can't compare them.
