Nolan Fans

I read on Imdb forums that Leo got $15M for INCEPTION. This is kind of surprising cause he got $20M for CATCH ME IF YOU CAN and BLOOD DIAMOND.

If that is true than maybe he was more interested in working with a really good director? If I were an actor and had quite a bit of money already I wouldn't mind getting paid a little less to be in a great movie.

He seemed personally invested in the script and story, and him and Nolan have been discussing doing a project for some time so I'm not surprised. He probably just wanted to be apart of a great movie. Remember his favorite tv show is the Twilight Zone and he hasn't really done a true sci-fi film, he was probably itching to do one eventually.

Why? - Catch me if you can and Blood Diamond are directed by best directors as well.

You have a good point.

leo isnt famous for asking a lot of money. the reason is that he is no will smith or tom cruise at the box office...

IMDb isn't a trustful source.

Pacino got 22 million for Insomnia I think and we all know Pacino likes theater more than he likes cinema and was never against (he's actually very much in favor of) low budget projects.

So the Pacino case seems a lot more awkward to me having also in mind that Nolan's previous movie Memento costed only 300 000 which is like 73 times less and is for a whole movie.

15million dollar Not Much?,i wish i had it

Tough to complain with 15 million when you have an interesting project, a chance to work with an ambitious filmmaker with an original concept, and of course working with several other talented individuals.
