I know for a long time now that nolan really likes bond movies,
but i think it would be a great idea that nolan makes a bond movie also.
that would be the greatest bond movie in years :D
what you all think about it?.

Not a Bond movie fan, so I'd rather him stay with his original ideas.

I agree.
I don't even want to see Sam Mendes doing it.

What intrigues me about Mendes doing it is, he's never done action quite like whats in the bond series. It reminds me of when Nolan was offered the Batman franchise.

Unfortunately, Nolan's popularity will pretty much prevent him from doing this. MGM always picks directors who aren't big names as they want Bond to be the selling point, not the director.

Maybe if this was early Nolan, he could have done it, but not now. I don't think it's much of a loss.

I don't like James Bond movies but I care about Sam Mendes, he is one of my favorites directors and I like the way he works, not thinking in blockbusters but in great human stories.

I don't really care for Bond, the character never intrigued me.

I think Inception will pretty much be Nolan's ode to Bond, so directing a Bond film (if it ever actually happened) would be a bit superfluous.
