Tom Hardy recently confirmed that he signed on for an Inception Sequel and Warner Bros. recently confirmed that they wanted an Inception Sequel.( After all it made just over $800 million worldwide).Nolan also confirmed that an Inception video game was in the works that was supposedly set within" The Inception Universe" and now multiple Inception comics have been released. Does Nolan really want to make Inception into a franchise? Inception is my favorite Nolan film by far but one of the main reasons why I enjoyed it so much was because it was an original concept. Also Dom got home to his kids and Mal is out of the picture so how could they really continue the story? Hopefully Nolan will continue to dazzle audiences and focus on original concepts instead of doing a "James Cameron". Nolan wrote and directed Inception and has made almost 2 billion for Warner Bros. So he will probably have the final say on the matter.
