I think making a horror film is definitely a no brainer. Especially after watching Dunkirk, the way he taps into the horror genre for some of the scenes... It's amazing. He played around with horror elements in Batman Begins, and Dunkirk.
But that being said, I don't think we'll get a horror movie anytime soon. He's been very clear that he wants to stay in the large-scale film making side of the industry as much as possible. I guess he can do a large scale horror film, but I have no idea what that would look like.
He can always surprise us and make a biopic quickly, and get it out next year. The Prestige style...
My guess is he's going back to Sci-Fi after Dunkirk... don't know why, it's just a hunch.

I just want another psychological thriller.
A thriller/drama with colonial India as the setting

So he can finally explain that big ass time-gap-plot-hole from Risesprowlercomesaround wrote:A thriller/drama with colonial India as the setting
