I already thought in this before. About Nolan should make a epic drama ancient or medieval film. Something like Kingdom Of Heaven, Gladiator, Troy, Braveheart or The Messenger: The Story Of Joan Of Arc.

i wouldn't mind seeing Nolan do a period piece again with his strengths as a director for thriller, suspenseful, mysterious type of movies.
If he could pull that off in a medieval setting, that would be interesting/different.
