Jonathan Nolan, co-screenwriter of Memento, The Prestige, The Dark Knight (and it’s sequel) has finally got a greenlight on his script for a Titanic-like historical tragedy and love story revolving around the Great Chicago Fire in 1871 that Warner Bros. have owned for two years.

Titled Hell and Gone (awesome!) the period ‘revenge’ film is being fast tracked with J Blakeson – writer/director of the rather excellent thriller The Disappearance of Alice Creed – who is in talks to direct.
Go Jonah!

Great news! :-)
I really liked The Disappearance of Alice Creed, so I hope Blakeson does a great job with Jonah's script.
