Hah, yea. I'm not too fond of the new trilogy, but the fight scenes in the new ones are to die for.ek79 wrote:Only the classic trilogy! Hahahahaha!chee wrote:Bah, I want Star Wars in Blu-Ray.ek79 wrote:Blu-Ray for Following NOW!

I disagree. I believe Batman Begins goes against Nolan's trademark style the most. It is his only film which is relatively optimistic and has a happy ending. All of his other films (keeping in form with his style) have been rather pessimistic and have had downer endings.Nebel wrote:Batman Begins to me is more trademark Nolan than it's sequel.
Anyways, My order would be:
1 - Memento/The Dark Knight (Two very different films which both represent Nolan finest accomplishments)
2 - Batman Begins
3 - The Prestige
4 - Following
5 - Insomnia
hmmmm good lists everyone
1 Memento
2.Batman Begins
3.The Prestige
4.Following
5.Insomnia
6.The Dark Knight
Top Performances
1.Heath Ledger - The Dark Knight
2.Guy Pearce - Memento
3.Al Pacino - Insomnia
4.Alex Haw - Following
1 Memento
2.Batman Begins
3.The Prestige
4.Following
5.Insomnia
6.The Dark Knight

4.Alex Haw - Following
1. The Dark Knight - 4/4
2. Batman Begins - 4/4
3. Following - 3.5/4
4. Memento - 3.5/4
5. Insomnia - 3.5/4
6. The Prestige - 3/4
All great films. The first two are the only masterpieces he's made so far simply because he hasn't had the production resources outside of the Batman films. I'm sure with Inception (and its $200 mil budget) that Nolan will be able to bring his true mind to the screen with remarkable results.
2. Batman Begins - 4/4
3. Following - 3.5/4

That's a hard question, almost mean...
I cant choose...but if you put a gun in my head...
It would be Memento first. It is the MOVIE for me, one of my all time favorites.
The movie is just perfect. Amd then:
The Dark knight
The Prestige/Batman Begins
Following
Insomnia
But don't tell him, I love all the same.
