My Question: What was your childhood like in regards to your love of films and the arts?
I'm always interested in hearing an artist's beginnings and history.

If I could ask him one question and expect an honest answer, it would be "what was his mindset while working on TDKR?"
In other words - was that truly a passion project, like TDK, or simply a movie that "had" to be made.
Rises is a curious film of contradictions where great stuff is mixed with the uninspired. On one hand it had a lot fo Nolan in it, on the other it seemed like, the director's heart was absent from this one. It didn't feel like a natural escalation and progression of the story (like TDK did), and rather a movie that was made to artificialy close the trilogy and apease the fans.
There have been long debates over wether or not Nolan really wanted to do "Rises". I would love to hear from the man himself on this one.

I would ask him to release a damn extended cut to Rises.
