The original version is easily the best film. The Redux is a mess especially due to the plantation scenes, which are dragging down the entire picture. The added scenes with Kilgore was a joy to watch though.

i actually didnt mind the plantation scenes. those and the playboy scene seemed at least relevant but the kilgore stuff felt really out of place
