In this case, we'll be using actors and connecting them with movies that they've acted in with other actors.
I guess we can use directors and other film-making roles too.
Christopher Nolan directed 2 Batman movies, which were inspired by comic books written by Frank Miller whose two comics were adapted to screen by Zack Snyder
Well I normally do it through crew members when me and my mates play it. But that is the right idea though. I can't think of actors or films that connects them tbh.

Am I doing this right?
I guess that works. I was thinking more that they've met or worked with. I'm not sure Nolan has ever been in the same room as Miller.
I made sure it worked when I posted it and this is what I came up with
Christopher Nolan directed The Dark Knight, which starred Christian Bale played Melvin Purvis in Public Enemies, a character that shot Pretty Boy Floyd, played by Channing Tatum had a small part in a movie called Havoc, that starred Anne Hathaway co-starred in Passengers with Patrick Wilson was Nite Owl in Watchmen, directed by Zack Snyder
