I was probably like the biggest Armie Hamer fan in every friend circle. I would see his movies in theaters, watch his direct to streaming movies on day of, and went to his Broadway show and I was planning to see his new show when Broadway opened up again. Even defended him when that Buzzfeed article came out in late 2017.

This whole thing is so sick and so disgusting. I hope all the women he hurt get the help and support they deserve.

I'm finally getting out of hospital tomorrow. Already tested negative today and I am super happy to get back home. It's been a long and horrible month to start the year.

Great news. You got a dose or no?

Of the vaccine? I'll be lucky to get it by the end of the year with how slow the roll out is going here. They still haven't vaccinated group 0 (medics) and then it's 80+, 70+, 60+, public servants and then all the rest. My grandmother is over 90 and her date is set for end of March. I have no idea when my parents will be eligible, let alone myself. Unfortunately it's going to be another loooooong year here.

Glad to hear you’re well now, Lelek.

We had a covid scare in our family a couple of weeks ago, but repeated tests came out negative, so I guess all is “fine”. Back to waiting for that vaccine for god knows how long.

I like Promising Young Woman, but the amount of GG noms it received is hilarious to me.

Emerald Fennell amongst nominees like David Fincher and Chloe Zhao?? lmfao get the fuck outta here.

On another note, I've been on an anime hype, and I'm binging Neon Genesis Evangelion because I really want to see The End of Evangelion.
Also Satoshi Kon is 3 for 3 rn. Perfect Blue = Paprika > Millennium Actress

Haven't seen Promising young woman (not released here yet), but does Fennell really deserve it less than Sorkin?
Not that Sorkin's directing is bad, but just not award worthy imo.
