So AMC is scheduled to open up here on the 26th. Really hoping my county can chill for a bit so that I can see the film September 3rd.

Fingers crossed the story is still about a love triangle between JDW, Pattinson and Taylor-Johnson
or at least intense gazing into each others eyes and getting lost

I'm genuinely not sure what to do RE: seeing Tenet in theaters. On one hand, zero people around my age have died in Illinois. Hasn't happened once. Cases are spiking, but hospitalizations are still super low.
On the other hand, theaters are uniquely dangerous situations that violate even the basic social distancing rules we've followed for 5 months. If you're sitting one seat apart, that's obviously less than 6 feet apart, let alone for 3 hours, let alone while one or both of you has a mask off some of the time.
Not to mention, I have a weakened immune system. So do I go? If so, when do I go? I'm currently planning to wait for a mostly vacant theater in the early morning or very late night, but honestly, I'm not sure about it all. Should I go earlier? Later? Not at all? Still do not know.
